Vision

Our Beliefs

We believe in one God, creator of all things, perfect in love and holiness who exists as three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; II Corinthians 13:14; I Peter 1:2)
We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and entered human form by the miracle of the virgin birth, that He lived a sinless life, and died for our sins. We believe that He rose again on the third day and now sits at the right hand of God as our advocate (Matthew 1:18-25; John 1:1 & 14, 3:16; I Corinthians 15:3-7; Hebrews 1:3; I John 2:1), and will one day return to the earth to gather His own, judge his enemies, and reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:50-52; Revelation 19:11-16).
We believe that the Holy Spirit is God. His ministry is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. We believe that He brings about the new birth, indwells, baptizes, seals, anoints, and endows all who are regenerated with spiritual gifts. The Holy Spirit also leads believers who daily surrender their life to Him by guiding, teaching, sanctifying and filling them. (John 15:26, 16:8, 3:3-6, 14:16-17, 14:26)
We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word and is the sole authority for all Christian faith and life. We believe that God has preserved His Word and that by His power it has been kept from being lost, destroyed, or diluted with error. (II Timothy 3:16; Psalm 119:89; I Peter 1:23 & 25)
We believe that all people are created in the image of God. At the same time because of Adam’s sin, all people are sinful by nature and choice. Apart from forgiveness in Jesus Christ, all are lost and alienated from God. (Genesis 1:27, 3:1-6; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1-3)
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. His death is the only payment for our sins that God will accept. All who truly believe in Christ are born again and become the children of God. (John 1:12; Ephesians 2:8-9)
We believe that the Church consists of all who believe in Jesus Christ as Savior. We believe that every local church is free to govern its own affairs under Christ and should seek to support the unity of all Christ honoring churches and ministries. (Colossians 1:28; Ephesians 4:3-6)
We believe in the priesthood of all believers, and that every born again person has direct access to God and has the responsibility for his growth in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. (I Timothy 2:5; I Peter 2:2, 5, and 9)
We believe the Holy Spirit gives to every true believer spiritual gift(s). The purpose of spiritual gifts is to enable the Church to fulfill its mission of exalting Christ, empowering believers, and evangelizing the world. (I Corinthians 12:12)
We believe that believers are to uniquely demonstrate their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ through baptism and communion. Baptism is the outward demonstration of a believer’s inward faith that Christ has died for his/her sins, was buried, and that He has risen from the grave. We practice baptism by immersion. Communion is a physical reminder that Christ died for our sins and a memorial to Him until He comes again. As important as these are, they are not to be regarded as essential for salvation. (Matthew 28:18-20; I Corinthians 11:23-24)
We believe that the Church of Jesus Christ is to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. The Church is responsible for addressing the specific issues of each generation based upon the authority and conviction of God’s Word; it is a grave failure for the Church to be silent on the moral issues of the day. (Matthew 5:13-16; James 4:17)

LEAD PASTOR
Dave's two great passions are to pursue Jesus and help others pursue Him! He serves at The Bridge as the Lead Pastor inviting people to become sold out in their commitment to Jesus. Dave's bride of 34 years is Missy and they have 3 adult children, Hannah, married to Jeremy Miller, Mary Grace, married to Kyle Windebank, and David, married to Mary Beth Grimm. They also have 4 grandchildren, Archie & Indy Miller, Eden Windebank, and David Fox.

COMMUNITY PASTOR - NORTH
Dave’s goal in life is to love God and love others. Dave’s heart has always been for reaching Adams County community for Christ. We want to build community by serving other people in our community, so they see Jesus. Dave is married to Jenny and they have 3 beautiful girls, Jaylee, Briella, and Malia. Together they enjoy spending time with family, going for walks, and playing board and/or card games.

COMMUNITY PASTOR - SOUTH
Eric is passionate about serving Jesus wholeheartedly and helping all people grow in their relationship with Him. Eric loves being able to serve with his amazing wife, Jodi. They have 5 adult children: Adam & Allie, Ken & Clair Taylor, and Ben. Also, they have been blessed with a wonderful granddaughter, Ruby Taylor. Eric is committed to being involved in and seeing his community fall deeper in love with Jesus and each other.

Dustin Wagner

WORSHIP PASTOR - NORTH
Dustin serves The Bridge by combining his love for playing and singing music, leading people deeper in their relationship with Jesus, and a desire to reach unchurched people for his current responsibility. Dustin leads and serves our musicians and tech positions for the North Campus as they work to step into what God is doing to create an excellent experience for our Sunday services. Dustin married his wife Christie in 2007, and they have two children, Daxton and Shaylie.

WORSHIP PASTOR - SOUTH
Rocky has lead worship in our community for the past twenty year, and has also worked the South Adams Campus Life Director with Youth For Christ. He’s driven by two main motivators; that people come to know Jesus as Lord, and that they grow closer to Him daily. He has been married to his best friend, Lily, since 2003. They have 5 amazing children they call “The Crazies”: Blake, Carter, Pierre, Brynn, and Maddie.

TECHNOLOGY DIRECTOR
Jason is a Bellmont High School graduate who has been serving at The Bridge in varying worship roles since he was in the 5th grade. Jason serves our Creative Arts & Technology team by creating audio and video content for our In-Service and Online ministries, as well as managing the technology needs of both of our campuses. Jason uses his musical gifts on the worship team at our Berne campus but also credits those gifts for attracting his wife Kaylea. They have two daughters, Ellie & Emma.

MIDDLE SCHOOL PASTOR - NORTH
Tim is an Ohio native and IPFW graduate. He is deeply passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives and witnessing their genuine connection with God. Since high school, he has actively volunteered with his church and Youth For Christ, eventually becoming a part of the YFC staff. Walking with God daily and guiding students on their spiritual journeys and growing their personal relationship with God are his ultimate goals.

HIGH SCHOOL PASTOR - NORTH
Ethan came to The Bridge in the Summer of 2023. He has a real passion for helping students to take the next steps in their relationship with Christ and watching them become family members in the body of Christ. He is excited to get to serve on Jesus' mission here in Adams County! Ethan is a 2019 Manchester High School graduate and a 2022 graduate of Huntington University. Ethan enjoys playing sports and being in nature in his free time.

Kaylea Baker

YOUTH PASTOR - SOUTH
Kaylea grew up at The Bridge and now serves on staff as the Youth Pastor at our South campus. Her heart is to make heaven crowded and to help students encounter Christ through radical transformation. When she's not hanging with students and doing ministry, she loves engaging in photography, bow hunting, being outdoors, rescuing animals, and spending time with her family. Kaylea is married to Jason, and they have two beautiful daughters, Ellie and Emma.

Grady is a graduate of South Adams High School. He has volunteered with The Bridge youth and children’s ministry since he graduated. He has a passion for the outdoors, and loves being with the youth. He is newly married to his wife Katelyn.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY - NORTH
Lauren has been volunteering in youth ministry and creative arts at The Bridge since 2018 and has now transitioned into Children’s Ministry full-time. Lauren and her husband Timothy have two beautiful daughters and a son. Lauren is overjoyed to be pouring into young hearts as she begins her work in children’s ministry.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY - SOUTH
Tami has been at The Bridge from the beginning. She began teaching 2 & 3 year olds and then became one of the children’s pastors in 2002. Tami and her husband Bob have 3 wonderful children and 5 beautiful grandchildren. Tami loves sharing Jesus with children and their families.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Missy Fox is the Women’s Director and a part of the speaking team on Sunday. She has served at The Bridge for 23 years. She is marred to Dave and they have 3 married kids with 5 grandchildren.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Kim has overseen the daily operation of The Bridge since 2002 and loves working behind the scenes with our ministry staff. She also enjoys serving in Children’s Ministry as well as leading and working with the volunteers in the Bridge Café Ministry at our North campus. Kim and her husband Doug have hav been attending and serving at The Bridge since 2001.
