Join us for this year’s Bridge of Hope Gala!
The Bridge of Hope Gala is a multi-faceted prom event that is designed specifically for individuals aged 14 and older who have disabilities. Each guest is welcomed like royalty and crowned the King or Queen of the Prom. Guests are paired with their buddy and showered with love and affection as they walk the red carpet, enjoy a great meal, and dance to the music. Guests also receive a corsage or boutonniere, get their picture taken, play games, watch a movie, sing karaoke, make crafts to take home, visit with therapy dogs, or can take a break in the quiet room.
Care givers get to watch the activities from their designated room while also enjoying a great meal.
Volunteers are needed to serve as buddies for our guests, as well as parking lot attendants, greeters, red carpet cheerleaders, decorators, coat checkers, guest and volunteer check-in, game and craft room attendants, food preparers and servers, photographers, karaoke hosts, and so many more areas!
The event is being held on Saturday, April 1 at Hope Missionary Church in Bluffton. Online registration is open for Volunteers, Guests aged 14 and up, and Care Givers.
